| | ESPN's critically acclaimed Two-Minute Drill airs Monday and Thursday nights at 7 p.m. and repeats on ESPN2 Friday night at 8:30, 11:30 and Monday at midnight Eastern time. The show is the latest from the creators of Who Wants to be a Millionaire ?and Win Ben Stein's Money.
The Game
Three contestants will each take two turns in the spotlight getting grilled on their sports knowledge by a panel of experts, which will include sportscasters, journalists, athletes and coaches. The player who has the most correct answers at the end of the two rounds will have a chance to answer one final question in their own pre-determined area of sports expertise. If the player is correct, he or she will win the jackpot (and bragging rights).
Eligibility
To be a contestant you must be a resident of the 50 United States and at least 18 years of age. Employees and their immediate family members or those living in the same household of The Walt Disney Company, The Hearst Corporation, ESPN, Inc., ABC, Inc., all Two-Minute Drill personnel, participating advertising agencies, or any person or entity connected with the production, administration, or judging of this contest, or any of their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents or representatives ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. In addition, any persons closely acquainted with any persons connected with the production, administration, or judging of the contest are not eligible if in the game sponsor's sole discretion, the person's participation could create the appearance of impropriety.
How to Enter
The next contestant search will take place in early 2001.
To qualify, send an email with your name, age, address, phone numbers, specialty category, and a brief paragraph about why you should be a contestant to: ESPNDrill@go.com.
Contestants must be at least 18-years-old and must provide their own transportation to New York City for a written test and audition, and if you qualify, for taping(s) of the show.
